New Ideas @ Strathclyde

A night when prizes were presented, speeches were spoken and lessons were learned.....



Last Wednesday, in All Bar One, we had a little celebration for the winners of the Strathclyde's New Ideas winners. Growing Success

I planted white maize, potatoes, beetroot, tomatoes, chomolia( sukuma wiki for those from Kenya), spinach, carrots, onions and pumpkins. I try to and grow everything I enjoy cooking, when I first started on the allotment, it was full of grass and iwas more of a dumping place. Some of the people who already had their allotments told me that it will take me about two years to make it productive, but in my mind i was excited about the venture. I told myself that when they started harvesting I wll b… Continue
